i like the idea of the window art and street reflection being a part of the shot (nice inclusion of the hotel marquee in the reflection). it has a lot to do with who he is (at least with respect to this shot). i like the shot in general as it's different yet still pertinent. I'm just not getting enough of him. the parking garage across the street is pretty strong and bright.

I agree, I like the window reflection but I feel like in this case it pulls too much focus away from the guy and hides too much detail. I still like the shot, I just don't love it.
Also, anyone else think he looks like Will Smith?

I love the idea, wish more of him came out, but not a lot you can do there.


A simple thought - a bit tighter crop on him make him seem more apparent and less creepy guy in the window. I think he's a small subject with so much going on in the reflection, and losing some of the garage in the top sort of makes him come out a lot better.

Ah, see I saw more Billy Dee Williams than Will Smith.

I agree - crop off the top and it works better.

Thanks for all your comments. After reading them, I can definitely see some Will Smith in him But yeah, wish I would have gotten a tighter shot and the parking garage wasnt so bright. Next time will keep that in mind when composing this shot. Was a candid shot that took on a mind of its own.
