Who doesn't love images of cute Thai ladies?

As for the photographs, too much flash.

Trever1t, I am sourcing for a diffuser. Between the bounce card and sphere diffuser, what would you recommend?

This shot was taken at a further distance, maybe 4 meters. The flash is not so strong.

This most recent shot is a bit off. Perhaps the color is just a big muted, but the lower flash is better. A diffuser is a really good idea.

I do a lot of cosplay photography and just got booked to shoot MechaCon in NOLA later this summer as well as some private shoots in the early morning. I am also doing a group shoot with 3 other photographers this Saturday. Cosplay photographers also rarely charge, and are often photographers outside of that subject matter that do charge. Cosplayers are really lucky like that!

I am having difficulties determining if my photos are over exposed or not. Most times, I rely on the historgram but depending on the subject, sometimes it is also not accurate too. Can you tell me if this photo is also too strong?

For me it's not so much the exposure as much as it is the color balance and harsh lighting.
Is their skin really as pale as in the pictures? I want to say warm the photos, but the rest of their outfits seem to be the right color.

Hopefully a diffuser and maybe off camera flash will help.

There's something oddly attractive about Cosplay geeks....! Like!
It might only be me, but it could be because these so-called "geeks" are actually attractive young ladies.

The truth is, most participants in cosplay are ladies. Even 'men' are lady dressed up as man. They wear thick make-up so I guess you are unlikely to know their complextion.
