I drove by this on my way home and it just looked too perfect to pass. My mom loves sunflowers, so I'm sure this will become a large print on her wall. I wish they were all facing towards me.

And advice, tips or thoughts are appreciated.

I could of but would have had an ugly background.

As for the sky, I didn't notice. Then again, I am colorblind. Ill be sure I fix that.

I think I had a gradated filter and the slider must have been towards the magenta. Better?

Doing so will add some drama and tension to the image, make it more panorama like, and give your main subject - the sunflowers - more visual weight.

Doing so will add some drama and tension to the image, make it more panorama like, and give your main subject - the sunflowers - more visual weight.

He's not talking about how you prefer to edit your photo, he's talking about the "My Photos Are NOT OK to Edit" designation you've chosen. Many of the more experienced folks around here will sometimes take the time to do an edit on a photo to "show" you what they would do to it, rather than just trying to explain in words.
So, for instance, KmH might have just gone ahead and cropped the photo the way he is talking about so that you can SEE whether you think it improves it or not.

Many people choose that designation because they think the "My Photos Are OK To Edit" is somehow giving us the right to take your photos and do what we want, but it's not. It's just permission to edit them for re-posting here as visual aids when we try to help others improve.
