Couple images from a Nikon D610 and50 1.8G

Been fulling around with this nikon D610. So far very nice camera. Seems to have great IQ. These two pictures

THese both are JPEGS with some adjustments via PhotoSHop. Not to much just a few things here and there.

For any of you who would like to CC thats would be great. I would like some input on composition of these two photos. Lately I have been playing with angles and framing so any feedback on composition would be GReaate!

augie peace is an interesting family photo. The slightly unusual stripe look from his eyeglasses or the stripes on the hoodie is fascinating and ambigous. Pretty cool family photo, although I think the highlights are a bit too yellow and are bordering on out of control. It's offbeat, unusual, likeable.

Thanks Darrel, I have been trying to get unusual angels and what not also playing with different colors and processing. I normally do a lot of HDR work but, I am trying to do other things now. Tying to figure out what makes a an ok BW or a Great one.

Once I sold my D700 everything else went as well flashes and what not. However there is a lot you can do with natural lighting that seems to capture unique moods and forced to compose to your lighting. With flash it seems as though you can create the mood depending on what lights you are using. I kinda like this right now its forcing me to look and work for a better composition.

I really like either vibrant or dull, so i raised the shadows, used radial filter to put more focus on the boy and his arm, and added some vinginetting
