all those beams in #1 are pretty cool architecture, but I followed it all the way to the end to find nothing. Kind of disappointing. To me it lacks a subject to make it interesting. If there was a silhouette of someone at the other side or something like that, it would have made for a much better shot.

Great post processing with #2. The plane is cool and I like how the color brings the focus to the main subject, but if you didn't edit this one at all...it would have probably just looked like a random snapshot.

Just my two cents though. Certainly don't listen to what I say if you like them...cause that really is all that matters in my opinion. Thanks for sharing them.

1) Aside from the other side of the bridge being totally blown out, it's a great shot. Maybe try the dodge/burn tool and try to either draw out some detail or darken it up a lot. As it is, that one small part draws my attention more than the other really good parts of the picture. A circular polarizing filter might prevent that.

2) The background is distracting. It's kind of cluttered. I do like the use of selective color here.

#1. I would have done HDR on it. Great comp!

#2. My first thought was, "Wow. Some flyboy really had to take a leak, landing in front of the public restrooms at the old hospital!"

Hey guys, thanks for all of the feedback so far. I really appreciate it. I do have a question though. I am really new to this so I am not sure what HDR material means. I googled it and read about it, but how would I go about learning to do this technique?

Practice, practice, practice.
