I disagree. If you look for stupidity that’s what you’ll see. Try looking for where the people have come together to shine in this trying time.
Kindness is spreading even faster than fear. I have seen, in my town, many neighbors offering to help those who can’t or are afraid to go out due to high risk factors. Shopping for them or driving them to get necessities. Young people offering to do yard work for the older folks. To keep bored children who are home from school occupied, our neighborhood organized a shamrock scavenger hunt the other day where people put shamrocks in their windows and families walked or drove around finding them. One of my friends has started a 6pm porch to porch social hour. Another in my town set up a virtual sewing circle where they are making masks for the local hospital. And another group organized a food drive for the local food pantry.
BTW all of these things were organized via the evil Facebook.
