Critique my country monochrome landscape?

This is such a peaceful picture. I like the b&w conversion, and I really like the symmetry from left to right. However, I think I a different crop would make this a stronger image. As it stands then entire photo is segmented in half both ways. I think that putting the sky in the top 1/3 of the frame, and Cropping it into16x9, would serve this particular shot better.

I think it has potential to be a nice photo, but you blew it technically. Critical highlights in the sky are blown out and the overall tone response is weak. If the highlights aren't blown in your original go back and process it correctly.

I think this picture might look better in original colour as in this "monochrome" (or just b&w ) version it has rather flat range of tones. Plus maybe it is my monitor, but some places in the sky looks too bright. Clipping ?

take that up with Fine Art America. I make 7 dollars mark up off it. And that's for wrapped canvas. Prints are 17 dollars.

It's OK man, links are OK. Especially if lead to big files. On the other hand pictures posted right in the forum don't disappear when the link is cut and discussion contained in the thread is still about visible subject.

I think it's an interesting perspective, I might like to see less foreground because I feel like I want to see out into the distance more. I see white but not much black, maybe there needed to be some adjustment with the exposure or the photo could use some adjustment. I've done a good bit of B&W film photography as well as some digital and I often am thinking if a scene will look good in B&W before I start taking pictures, if there's some nice contrast that once I remove color will make for a good photo.

$7 out of 60?? I didn't know that's what their pricing is, that's an incredibly low percentage for the photographer, I doubt I'd agree to that.

I also noticed the one with the post and furrows in a field in the distance. I like the idea of that, I might have tried some different vantage points and perspectives. The left side of the photo doesn't seem as interesting as the right side, and I might like to see a little more of the pattern of the field to the right (I feel like I'd like to be up on my tiptoes to see over the foreground just a little). It looks like you have some ability, just might need to keep working on developing your skills and see what you can do with your photography.

As for the pricing, the 7 dollars is for smaller prints which total out to be about 17 dollars total. The 60 dollar canvases I get more closer to 20 bucks I think, maybe a little less. I'm not looking to strike it rich, just a few bucks here and there.

As for the vantage point, I really wanted to get up higher to see more of the patterns in the fields. I think if I could have gotten up higher I would have had some nice leading lines into the foreground. But alas I was restricted by my 5' 8" height.
