Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Guys,
I want to crop this photo to fit either a 13" x 19" or a 19" x 13" . I have attached the photo (Still fine tuning everything else on it) but would like suggestions on where you would crop it to make either of the dimensions work for printing. OKAY TO EDIT THIS PHOTO.

Kind of a personal preference thing, but here is how I would crop it. Had to clone out bottom right log that looked too busy.

He's to far over to the right for his negative space to work, bugger hey.

A 3:2 crop with lower right branch,

Removed the lower right branch,

I rather the the one with the branch.

This would be my 2-bob's worth ... a square crop

This would also work for me. In both photo's the bird is the main object and in both crops it has it's back against the rear and looking toward the front. I generally like to see the main point looking into something, not into a wall with lots of nothing to the back. If I had to pick one of these two it would almost always be the panoramic view. I think we naturally see every thin in panoramic so make panoramic view natural. And, you'll notice the bird is looking down and toward the far corner, I like that. Had the bird been looking up it wouldn't have worked for me. Then the bird is simply looking at a wall.

My suggestion, I'm assuming you are suspending the "Photos NOT OK to edit" for this thread.

Just mentioned focus on the eye and here's a great example of it! Notice the background is out of focus also. Think that might be the crop to use but I'd try an either 8x16 crop or a 9.5x10 and have it start just behind the bird with the bird looking into the photo and ending before that extra big limb get's in there. Bird looking into the picture and down gives me the impression it up fairly high, like that!
