Custom Picture style for Video vs. Stills

This question is pretty much for anyone who uses their DSLR for video work. I recently switched to CineStyle picture style from Technicolor, if you're not familiar with it canon pretty much worked with Technicolor to come up with a picture style that can capture as much info in any given shot as possible. I love it and would recommend to anyone, it gives you a lot of wiggle room when color grading to get the desired look. The question is, do people normally use same custom picture styles for stills? Wouldn’t it be the same principal, to capture the widest array of information. Am I right in saying that?
