Hi there,
I've been looking around these forums, and unfortunately, I have not been able to find much threads about these two camera comparisons as it seems like they're in two different levels/tiers. I'm strapped in cash at the moment, trying to save as much as possible; however, I'm quite interested in starting to learn photography, and in addition, my family do not have a quality camera.
I have found two used camera deals, which have been hauting me for a few days now, they are:
D3000 for $420,
includes backpack, tripod, 18-55mm lens.
t1i for $500,
includes 18-55mm lens
The major difference I can tell between the two is that lack of D3000 to record videos. Only reason I can think of for recording videos would be quick moments that I'd like to put in memory, or snowboarding scenes. I was just wondering, if you were me, what would you lean towards? If i were to buy a camera now, I'd like to keep it as long as possible, and perhaps when the camera starts dysfunctioning, I'd upgrade then, as I'm a complete beginner at this point.
Thanks so much, and help me relieve some of this dilemma!
P.S. I'd use the camera for everyday usages, as well as nice car photos, some sports photos, and for advertising a little bit.
Edit: Price change.
