Has anyone shot with this new camera yet? Im still shopping and researching so thanks for the input.

I have not, however I've owned both of it's older siblings (D40 and D60). I love those camera bodies and considered the D3000 however for the price I picked up a D60 for I couldn't justify the extra money for a D3000.
The image quality should be the same, I think 11 focal points and a new menu are the main differences.

They have also added the Multi-CAM 1000 auto focus module. The D60 has the Multi-CAM 530 auto focus module.
