D5000 eyepiece

I need a new eyepiece foe my Nikon D5000, I can get the DK-21 eyepiece (that comes with the D80/D90/D7000) for about half the price of the DK-24 eyepiece that came with my D5000, does DK-21 fit on the D5000?

$8.50 cents vs $5.00 ??? are we serious?
One can make most anything fit, but are you going to ruin a part of the camera for a few bucks.
