After my off brand extra battery sh*t the bed, I bought a replacement Nikon battery. The original Nikon number was EN-EL9. The new one is a EN-EL9a.
Original: 7.4v, 1000 mAh
New: 7.2v, 1080 mAh.
Didn't notice this at first. Seems to work ok and Amazon and a couple other places list it as a replacement for the D60. However, Nikon's website says it's for the D3000 and D5000.
Am I safe to continue using this, do you think?
