D60 vs D3000

I was checking out Best Buy today and noticed that they have a package deal for a D60 with the standard kit lens (18-55mm) and a 55-200mm for $699 and the new D300 for $599 with the kit lens. So once again I am wondering out of the two which would you choose and why? Again I shoot mostly family pics and outdoor stuff. Thanks!
