D700 should I?

I found someone selling a D700. I've been waiting for someone to want to upgrade.I am meeting sat. To look it over. Price of 1600.00 it has 10,000 clicks. Said it was their back up camera. Price point good? It looked like it was from my research. What should I look for to make sure everything functions. I'm a little nervous to spend the money but I have been wanting a full frame for awhile. Any advice? Thank you!

Only thing I'd say is until you get a file in Opanda or similar EXIF reader there's no way to really know how many shutter counts it has...$1600 seems fair for one in cherry condition around here. You won't regret buying a D700, that's for sure.
