D80 or D90

so, I am getting into photography and I am wondering if I should get a used d80 or buy a new D90. I obviously could save quite a bit of money buying a new one, but I have permission from my wife to buy an DSLR and I want to know if it is worth it to go with a D90

I got the D90 with a 19-105mm combo and I am very pleased.

I proffered the D90 over the D3100 or the D5000 or the Rebel T2, in fact with more money I would go with the D7000, nevertheless it is too much for me.

With the D90 you will gain many more features over the D80 like being able to shoot movies with sound, higher resolution, a bigger LCD screen, better ISO performance, live view and more. If money isn't such an issue go for the D90, you won't be disappointed i own one and love it, just add the Battery grip to it and you have yourself one fine camera.
