D90 Help

Ive just purchased a new D90. Took pictures, saved to computer, back up files, formatted memory card.

Now I cannot open any of my .NEF files. PS# says it "Not the correct File Type" Lightroom says there has beenan error. And picture Project (came with my D80) can read the file, but cannot save the file.

Any ideas on what I can do?

If it's important and urgent I suggest download the trial of CaptureNX and work with it for this instance. If that can't read your NEF file I don't know what can.

I assume you have the latest version of Lightroom and ACR? I haven't encountered that problem before so I can't really help you on those lines.

download the Adobe DNG Converter - Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 5.5 update

After you've converted your .NEF to .DNG's, Photoshop will be able to open them with Camera RAW plugin.
