Daffodil

Hi everyone,

tried taking a picture of a daffodil backlit by the sun, through a window.

ooo i like it being backlit like that. I also like that the background has something to it and it isn't just a white curtain. i'm not going to lie - pictures of flowers typically bore me - but I think this one is great! :thumbup:

This one is so soft in everything --- the colour is muted, the background is flowing (as it were), and the whole flower portrait is quite a bit on the "high key" side... nothing you would see often! OK, I have also tried to take photos of backlit daffodils before, but never THIS high key. Very nice.
And along with it being so "soft" (not with regards to the focus, mind you), the detail is so good!
