Hoping to get this in before the storms roll in, I can hear them in the distance, so I will be quick :)

After the rain I wandered around in the dandelions, these are my favourites.

Would love to hear your thoughts, thank for taking a look!

Hi. Love the composition and shallow dot of the third one.

Hi SquarePeg :) Thanks! I'm inexplicably drawn to these things and they are a shape I hate to compose for, circles, argh!! Add in that there are two of them and I often have a hard time with that , I try to have odd numbers, I was quite pleased with how comfortable this one came out with very minimal cropping! (I think I took a smidge off the top and left)

I think these pods are interesting subjects too and have made a few attempts to get the shot I see in my mind but it never quite comes out the way I want it. I'm sure the neighbors are wondering if i have lost my mind seeing me crawling around the lawn at all hours, lol. I like that you used b&w - I may revisit some of my previous shots with that in mind.

The first one is quite nice. I am reading up on Pictorialism to I am perhaps prejudiced.

The "bokeh" seem a little "jittery" to me in it, I would consider actually adding a very slight additional blur to soften that up a little, and consider some burning and dodging. Perhaps something like this:

Nice set, I like what you've done.

Lol keep crawling! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with :)
2nd photo is splendid -- you turned a dandelion into fireworks -- bravo!

Joe
Thanks Joe! Fireworks was my first thought too :)

Hey Andrew, thanks for your thoughts :) I like where you are going with this, I think some "extra" blur in the background may help to make the lines of the flower stand out a little better as unique to it, I'm going to play around a bit with it.
Nice set, I like what you've done.
Thanks Ryan :)

Thanks for your thoughts Ilovemycam, #1 is definitely not going to be everyone's cup of tea and that's cool.

Little rainy day bump for the evening crowd :)

Partial to #3. Love the very shallow DoF. Similar to what Ysarex said, you've taken what many people spend lots of money to eliminate and turned it into art! Nice job.

Hi PixelRabbit ,I think #4 is the best here ,Followed by #2 .On #1 . Seems like pleasing Blurs are really getting some attention of late . It's not easy to do successfully .If you have 2 hrs you can spend this might help .............If you haven't watched it already.?
