The good news is that compositionally, the image has movement and depth. The eye runs from left to right; from near to far. The bad news is that there's nothing at the focal point. The eye runs down the row of bushes into nothing. Technically, it's too contrasty, and all the shadow values (and a lot of the highlights) are lost. Shooting into the sun resulted in a scene with more dynamic range than the camera could capture. That's a big deal in B&W.
