Decent Alternative to the MB-D11???

I tried a $35 knock off from Amazon. It worked for about an hour and promptly stopped working. I sent it back for a refund. I just haven't had good luck with 3rd party stuff. I'm sticking with OEM Nikon accessories.

i'm not a big fan of the price for the MB-D11... so i am looking for a good alternative?

anybody have any opinions for a good quality brand?

They're getting cheaper new(<$200) and used MB D-11s aren't so rare now. "Good alternative" seems to be a bit of an oxymoron: the clones are all flimsy in various ways compared to the real deal. Reverse command wheel action, rattling lock screws(great for video), break-prone battery tray locks, vanishing paint on buttons, all-plastic construction, wobbly grip/body connection--what's not to like?
