Deciding on a new camra need help.

Hey guys i just got back I'n to photography and looking for a new good camra. I am planning on doing it proffesinaly and as a hobby. I have been looking at the Eos 5d mark 2 or the Eos 7d. As of nikon I'm looking at the d7000. I plan on doing landscape and weddings,portraits. Some help would be nice thank you

For weddings landscapes and such 5d will be better. It has better high iso performance than 7D, and higher resolution than D700. D7000 is pretty much the same as 7d. Those cameras are geared towards high fps for action shooting, so I wouldnt bother with those for serious landscape or wedding work as they are no full frame.

If you currently dont have anything at all, 5d mark II with 24-105 f/4L should get you started. And maybe some cheap primes like the nifty fifty.

you might want to consider a full frame camera like D800 or 5Dm3. it has better low light performance than the cropped frame sensors camera, no crop factor for your lenses and also shallower depth of field

I would love the 5d mark 3 but that's out of my price range right now. It looks like a sweet cam. Thx guys.

What do u guys suggest a good all round lens?

I'd say for your price range 24-105 f/4L is the best you can get. Otherwise as I stated in my PM to you, Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC + 70-200 f/4L (if you can't afford f/2.8)

5D mark 3 is better than 5d2 but it's better to have a 5d 2 with some good glass, than get 5d3 and only be able to use 50mm f/1.8 with it.
