delete JPEG copy LR

I accidentally imported my back up jpegs. Is there a quick, easy way to delete them from LR leaving the raw file only?

Only by removing the folders they are in if they are separate to the raw files. You can't just select jpegs if that is what you mean

Ya I agree. I think generally it's great but could never understand why it has no distinction between different types of file

What if you deleted them in the windows' folder.. Then update LR for that folder. Wouldn't that delete them in the Catalog?

Rather than delete them, temporarily move them to a different folder. Then update the Catalog so just the RAWs are there. LR should delete both sets of the jpgs in the Catalog. Then move back the jpegs and update the Catalog again.

Create a new Smart Collection. Set the file type to jpeg and set the date if you need to further filter. The Smart Collection will display the files that meet your criteria. You can then select all and delete.

What about selecting files by name (jpg, jpeg) / filter and then select all and remove from LR?
