Went to my first autocross event this weekend. Was pumped to use my new Canon 6D and Sigma 70-200 lens.

How do you guys feel about the shots with the higher shutter speed?

I know there's no motion blur but I feel like the weight transfer of the vehicles implies a nice sense of motion. No?

No, they look parked.

I don't think they looked parked, but they don't show enough body roll. I scanned through your flickr and I would suggest getting as low as possible and cropping tighter. That will help emphasize the body roll.

I think the pans work well. Nice job.

Thanks! I'll definitely consider that for the next event.

I was unsure on the crops, after seeing them both throughout the set I do agree tighter is better.
