Hello to all and Happy New Year:
I'm photographing a particular product that looks very good with natural sunlight. What I'd like to do is set up a temporary studio outside using two large size white photographic background papers. Now, to diffuse direct sunlight, I was thinking about purchasing Westcott's 96" x 96" Scrim Jim, 3/4 stop.
Besides using the Scrim Jim, are there any other good options for diffusing direct sunlight? Before learning about the Scrim Jim I was thinking about taking a large sheet of fabric suitable for light diffusion and just wrapping it around a background paper holder and pulling it straight down at an angle.
Thanks for the help,
Chris
