Digging Out The Camera

I haven't used my DSLR since I would say August of '10. I recently dug it out as the weather is finally improving and was wondering if I should bring it into my local photo store for any routine maintenance. Nothing is physically wrong with the camera as far as I can, I am just wondering if it would be a good idea.

Nope should be fine if you stored it in a dry location.

It certainly wouldn't hurt it.

You don't mention how old the camera is or how much it has been used in the past, so your guess is actually better then anyone elses.

It was used quite a bit in 2009/2010 and yes it was stored in a dry place. It does have a previous owner who was an avid photographer as well.
