Digital Back .raw size?

I will be doing some freelance retouching later next year and was wondering what size are the 20mp and 35mp raw files on a hassey or leaf back? I would probably be doing most of them via FTP, which is why I was wondering what the file sizes where.

Also do they use .tiffs or .raw generally? I am not up to date with the MF backs.

I've transferred files using FTP on the order of a gig or so... you should have no problems.

A 3FR file is about 50 MB from the CF-39 (39 MP) back and 30 MB from the CF-22 back. The 16 MP CFV back produces raw files of about 22 MB.

Thanks helen that helps a lot, I didn't know they compressed that much, I saw the converted tiffs of one of the 39 MP models was in the 200mb+ range!,

TIFFs have three channels per pixel (red, green and blue), most raw files just have one.
