I don't shoot video so I have two 64 gb SanDisk SDXC SD cards.

Shooting jpg's. I'm surprised that every user has not criticized you for that comment.

So how many pictures can you get on a 64gb? I will mostly be doing JPEG, but I will try my hand at RAW for certain subjects.

256 gb with a 7mb jpg file size average will give you 256,000mb divided by 7mb = 36,571 jpg's...............

64gb = 64,000mb divided by 7mb average = 9,142 jpg images.

A mod should tell you to use the search before posting.

Canon r6 iso 100 average file size is 7mb. Pulled from google search.
