Digital Contact sheets

Is there any point to printing contact sheets when shooting digital? I am wondering if I am just wasting my ink/paper or has it proven useful for others. I would love people to give thier own opinions and experiences.

i use them all the time, which is a part of my darkroom training, i like to sit and be able to hold the sheet in my hand. i file them in a plastic sheet protector placed in a 3 ring binder.

i print them out on plain office paper,nothing fancy

works for me
