Dilemma...

Hello everyone,

I am faced with a bit of a dilemma. I have recently upgraded from the kit lens (18-55mm) of a Canon EOS Rebel T1i (500D) to an 18-200mm lens. The thing is, I want to keep all of my polarizers from the kit lens-it has a filter thread of 58mm-but I also would like to use those on the 18-200mm lens as well-72mm filter thread.

I have looked into step down rings, but I have learned that they produce some crazy vignette, which I don't want to happen. So my question is, what should I do?

Your not going to be happy with this answer, but you have to go the other way. Start with the 72mm filter and use the step up rings to allow you to use that size of the 58mm lens.

It is going to take more than one step ring as you can't go from that range in one step; unless things have changed since i used these.
