A. Train shoots video pretty much daily of Amtrak's #5 (westbound) and/or #6 (eastbound) California Zephyr going through Agency, IA about 7 miles east of Ottumwa where I board or get off of the CZ.
Though it left the major Amtrak facility in Chicago a few hours back on March 25, the train is filthy.
I boarded this train a few minutes after A. Train recorded it going through his town.
It was nice having very dirty windows to look and shoot video through until I got to Sacramento the afternoon of March 27.
This train was the #6 (22) that originated eastbound at Emeryville, CA March 22. A couple of rock slides, one in California and one in Colorado, delayed that train's arrival in Chicago on March 24 by 7 hours.
So the train could leave CHI March 25 on time as the 5 (25) train they didn't wash the train.
To put a positive spin on it, editing video clips to account for all the crapola on the windows is a video clip editing skills challenge.
