Distraction?

I was just wondering if the small stem in the bottom left of the frame is distracting? I sometimes wonder if it's just me or if it really is. Any thoughts would be appriciated!

I would say yes...you could clone it out...or just crop.

I agree. I think because it is the only light bit in a mostly dark area it draws your attention to it instead of the intended subject.

it isn't as much distracting as it is unecessary. what distracts me is that the tip of the blade is cropped off.

I love it like that - i would bring the gamma just a tad up for more sharpness in the shadows.

it seems to be as sharp as the main focal point up top. so it does distract. i would either clone it out or just blur it a bit so that its not as sharp.

The composition needs some improvement so the tip isn't cropped off and it's closer to the middle IMO, otherwise I don't think that would have been such a problem.
