Do shots like this require editing ?

Using a Sony NEX 5 is it possible to do something like this without editing ? Artist is my dear friend Bill Lapp, not I.

Thanks,

Shai

To quote one of the other moderators (Overread):

TPF has a general policy (FAQ) on the forums not allowing us to embed/attach photos which we do not own/have distribution rights to. We can, however, make direct links to photos on their original hosted website. So I must ask that you edit your post to reflect this

There is a FAQ link near the top of each forum page. Overread is referring to the 3rd one.

Just about every photo a film or digital camera makes can benefit from post process editing.
Photographer knowledge and skill are the major factors that determine image quality. A camera and lens are just a couple of the tools used to produce a fine photograph.
Lighting, composition, subject matter, all play a part..
