Do You carry your softbox and monolight to different location?

I used to drag my Q flash wherever, but never had a soft box for it. Now with the Flashpoint and strip box, I plan to carry it assembled, just not attached to the flash head.

That is exactly why i would like to buy this unit, for on location photogaprhy since there is no wires and can be easily be hand held by an assistant and put away as fast in locations where photography is not allowed. However i was told by a few to purchase P. Buff instead. I know that the second choice might be one of the best studio lights with its color consistency and really fast recycling and so on but, i think, heavy, bulky, wires and battery....

This unit is heavy because the battery is stored inside. If you add a soft box, you'll need a sturdy stand to hold it in place. I have an Avenger C-stand just for it.

It's a cheap EPhoto 12x48 from Amazon. Seems sturdy enough. Haven't really tested it much yet in that respect.

I just read this forum. I carry my mono block flash outdoors using portable power packs. I can take perfect photos without hesitation about the location.

It looks like you got Elinchrom brand but i hope you are not the one who carries that to location. Looks kind of heavy and those cables.....

It's a cheap EPhoto 12x48 from Amazon. Seems sturdy enough. Haven't really tested it much yet in that respect.

If you dont mind me asking. Why did you chose EPhoto 12x48 and what effect are you getting?? Is it your main light?
