Do you go around taking pics with someone else?

I am trying to convice a friend of mine that has recently arrived to UK.
I have even promissed a tripod and to put up with all his usual talking about music .. :/

I've met many fantastic people in local photogs society, and often we shoot together. but sometimes I walk alone coz they don't have time or are a bit busy. but I prefer to go with them - it is much safer!

No and I prefer not to have one. I like to just go out and shoot alone or if I'm doing something more street style I don't like people talking and distracting me

I have an astronomy mate and sometimes go up to his house for a night of action! Other than that I find a dark field after midnight on my own.
