Does anyone enjoy classical guitar playing?

I've been playing guitar for 9 years. It's a great feeling being able to play wonderful songs, such as "Asturias" (though I'm still working on perfecting it).

I never had teh patience for it. I've played guitar for years, and have owned several classicals. (I used to be Luthier, and many strays of all makes would follow me home on a regular basis.)

There is a certain amount of respect you have to have for the guitar and it's limitations, and a certain amount of respect your guitar has to have for your skeletal structure, and it's limitations. I was never able to find that balance. Don't get me wrong, I was decent just never good. It's an art I have quite a bit of respect for.

I agree with Stradawhovious, classical guitar demands too many hours, patience and dedication. I've played guitar por about 8 years, but even though I like to hear to classical guitar, to actually play it is a totally different story...

Check out the Punch Brothers playing of an arrangement by Rob Moose of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto. It is really awesome.

And yes I really like classical guitar.
