Does this look silly? It's for an Ad campaign I was hired to do. I wanted to do something different, but I can't tell if this looks stupid or not. I know the masking could use a little work. This isn't the final version. I just want to know if the concept is coming across.

I am trying to think she's falling, but her hair is going the wrong way to make sense of that.

Well for anyone to say if the concept was coming across your going to need to say what you are trying to advertise and what concept you are trying to get across.

I'm trying to advertise the clothing, but we wanted to do something different. First, went with her falling, but it looked odd to me, so here she's laying on a cloud, with her hair falling off it.

The exposure looks better on the second one, the first looks really blown out on the bottom, imo.

Well, yeah, because it's a white cloud.

I understand that. Look at her arm, there is not definition of where her back stops and just fades into a white blob (the cloud). The cloud is not very well defined, especially with such little "sky" showing.

Also, as mentioned, if she were falling back first, her hair would be going a different direction, and she wouldn't be needing to hold her skirt. For the second pic, if she was falling, why would she be holding her head up?

I was gonna ask it if it was for a mattress company... but if it's for a clothing company... then yeah... I dunno.

Photoshop her on something... With her legs on the wall and hair falling down.

Gorgeous gal and great shot but the ideas that you have with it are kind of cheesy.
