Dogs and Light

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to look. This is my first post here, and I was looking for some constructive criticism on the pictures posted below.

Thank you! I just used a single speedlight through a white umbrella.

I like the sleepy / dreamy look of the first one although I think a slightly less-tight crop would have helped. He looks very cramped in there. Perhaps even a rather tight landscape crop since his head is more wide than tall. Not sure about that though, I'd have to see it.

The second one needs a little light on the right side and the third is just too narrow for my tastes.
