Good use of DOF and the exposre, composition focus looks good. The first three are pretty much the same but i like the guilty look in the first shot.

Love the playful look in 2 .. lol .. he looks like he is waiting for you to toss the ball!! .. lol (come on ... come on already! .. TOSS IT! .. ) .. lol

Thanks for your replies.
I changed the first one to black & white and personally think it looks better.
The second shot I thought looked nothing in colour, but it appeals to me in b & w
The third shot is a different one again.
thoughts on these please ??

LOL.. looks exactly like The Simpson's dog. It needs some additional lighting or reflector. The dog is dark. YOur exposure is probably good if this was a white dog.

I love #1 and #2. S/he's a very good looking dog. #1 is just uber-cute. I didn't like it as much in BW though.

The black and white photos; I love the first and second one.
Very cute dog as well.

I've tried taking pictures of my dog, he doesn't cooperate too well. Haha
