Hi I would like to start off by saying thank you for being kind and offering this whoever gets it is lucky So thanks. I would like to put my name in the pot as I have no light stands or umbrellas I am being asked more and more for pet portraits and my job at a salon really wants me to take before and after shots and it would be nice to control the light better for those as well. right now my husband is my light stand and I have a sheet as a diffuser would like to try out some real gear and move up from the use what I got homemade stuff I have one flash now a Polaroid pl144-az. Again even if I am not chosen thanks

Anyone shooting "professionally" (i.e. taking money) needs better gear than this.... and should just buy some. This is fine for beginners just learning, but not really what I would call appropriate for real "work". We'll see...

I am not working any paid gigs theses are just as a hobby. Friends and family see the photos of my dogs and want me to shoot theirs I am so NEW I would NOT charge anyone for my work I am still working on so meany skills I am a long long long way from pro. As for work they don't really know what is and is not good I hate all the photos I have taken there and they think they are great (I think they are better then anyone else's P&S at the shop)they are being used in protfoilos I am still calling this a hobby. I feel I am an uber newbie and I think my work would support that statement I have just started to use an off camera flash about 4 months ago and have mixed results at best. I have none of the tools you are offering and I have never had any of them and would like to try them out and grow in my understanding of how to work with light with them and am a ways from being able to add any new gear. Please think about choosing me

At this point, the only diffusers I have would be two white umbrellas. I am looking to expand my bag with some other light modifiers, but lack the funds. I'm curious to see how different types of umbrellas would affect the end result. If you could find it in your heart to send one my way, I would be very thankful!

I would like to be considered in this donation. I am new to photography and have spent to much as it is for something that I have just recently became interested in lol. I have spent most of my disposable savings on my d60, 35mm, 50mm, 70-210(all within a month). Everything I buy is second hand because this is a very expensive hobby. Getting to the reason why I want to be considered is that I found 3 light stands on ebay for really cheap and one came with an umbrella mount on it. I only bought them because they were super cheap and I have an ebay problem lol. Anyway I would like to experiment with an umbrella instead of only my flash.

Anything available still? The stand and umbrella would be great! I currently have nothing but starting to set up a studio in our spare room here while in stationed in Japan! Not very many photographers for options here, and the ones off base charge an arm and a leg so I was gonna do family portraits for free for my fellow service members and their families to hone my editing skills and as something like community service... Shipping is technically a US address so it wouldn't cost much, and I would even be willing to pay for the gear shipped via USPS priority... Please let me know, I think it's awesome you're doing this for the community!
