Donating some extra stuff I don't need (umbrellas, lightstand)

I would throw my name on that list but, nah. I really need a better way of triggering my OCF(pocketwizards)and add an additional flash to the mix before I pick up any more modifiers. I currently have two sb600's, 46 in umbrella(black, white, shoot through) and a 20inx30in softbox.

Anything available still? The stand and umbrella would be great! I currently have nothing but starting to set up a studio in our spare room here while in stationed in Japan! Not very many photographers for options here, and the ones off base charge an arm and a leg so I was gonna do family portraits for free for my fellow service members and their families to hone my editing skills and as something like community service... Shipping is technically a US address so it wouldn't cost much, and I would even be willing to pay for the gear shipped via USPS priority... Please let me know, I think it's awesome you're doing this for the community!

Thanks!! I'm trying to talk my commanding officer (wife) into letting me buy a flash... Apparently pregnant women aren't nearly as understanding as ones that aren't! Quickly snapped this today to start a scrap book...

I just picked up a 430exii and could use the light stand to get the flash off camera for portraits, I have been looking at a stand for a while but after a tax....debacle...it's not in the budget.

I would like to be put in the drawing. I recently started photographing people. Right now, my only lighting gear is my Sigma 530 Super and a bounce card. I tried taking pics of my friends' baby daughter, and well, it didn't come out very nicely since I needed my flash off the camera to balance out the ambient lighting instead of adding to it. Plus, I'm sure an umbrella would have nicely diffused the lighting. I'm planning on photographing my other friend and her daughter in their living room since it currently does not have furniture in it and has white walls. An umbrella would complete that impromptu "studio look".

Based on the number of applicants... I will probably end up doing a random drawing for each of the items. This is fun... I may have to dig out some more old gear I don't use.... lol!

I would donate stuff too, but the only thing I have that I don't use is an extra lens hood (third party) for a Canon 100mm f2.8 (non-L). I donated all my text books to a couple thrift stores, and extra printer and school supplies to my mom's friend's kids. Donating things is always good karma. =)
