What's new

Donating some extra stuff I don't need (umbrellas, lightstand)

Based on the number of applicants... I will probably end up doing a random drawing for each of the items. This is fun... I may have to dig out some more old gear I don't use.... lol!

addicting isn't it? :D
I wonder what kind of response the D200 we will be donating soon will get?
dig away! empty those closets!

You have to be a canon owner to be eligible for the D200, right?? (Try to bribe another person to defect.)

You are correct I do shoot Canon. I was just giving him an idea. (and fuel the war again)

I think a light stand and umbrella would work with what I primarily shoot as well. Would have made this pic a little better:

It might help... but you would have to be very careful about reflections.

Nice Civic! I have a CR-Z I have done a few things too... Takeda intake, Tanabe exhaust, MB Wheels, Nitto Invo Rubber, and a few other things. Was going to SC it, but decided not to... maybe later... lol!

I would love to have any of these items. I have been shooting outdoors, because I can not afford studio equipment at this time. If I have to shoot inside, I us the window and my flash for a light source and sheets for a backdrop.

I want to learn how to photograph inside and out with umbrellas and lights. My friend has a studio, and it's so cool, because you can be so creative. I already do free photography for Seniors in HighSchool. My goal is to have a studio to photograph women free of charge to build self esteem.

sure thing.. in the hat! ;)

WOW I am really surprised how kind people are on this site. It's really nice to see good deeds. I myself have never used any of this gear but would LOVE to try. I am actually planning on doing my sisters senior pictures (1 because it will save my mother some money and 2 I think I can do it?) later this year and this would work perfect with my D7000 and 50mm lens. She wants some indoors and outdoor shots so this would be absolutely perfect! :) I hope you consider me as a choice.

Do you have an external (not the Pop-Up) flash?

Gotcha.. ok, in the running, although I would prefer these go to someone that already has a flash. You need to spend some time with just a flash, learning the basics before you start trying to use this kind of gear.

Oh I have used external flashes before, but I can't afford one. I rented one for a month once and my friend let me borrow his also. I just have to find the right one and get some cash together to purchase it. But I appreciate the consideration :)
