A photo I took at Newcastle Central Station today. Just started getting into street photography, and I'm really enjoying it!

I don't get the "rushed" feeling from this, like your title suggests. Keep shooting!!

lol...old man is trying to figure out where the ticket goes. I agree grandpa has no sense of "rush".

I'd expect this photo to be on the morning paper with title "Train fare raises by 5% starting from July". In another words, the editor really don't need to have a photo to tell the story, but gets one anyways to fill the space. The photo, to me, is too generic. It's good if someone is using it as a stock photo, but lack a message to be captivating.

Thanks for the replies, the title would be more suited if I had stayed with the original crop. I felt the man in the background was a bit distracting though.

Then you were taking picture of the wrong subject. The guy walking in the back looks more in a hurry staring at his ticket than the old man trying to figure out if world war 2 is over.

The original has the context of Don't Miss the Tain on the A-Board. Your crop anesthetizes that fact.
