Went on a small hike with some friends yesterday afternoon before I headed home. It was a local location, only spent an hour or two there, but we were lucky enough to have the sun come out.

There's something really special about winter light (okay, I suppose it's technically late autumn!) Maybe it's how the low angle of the light falls on objects differently than it does in other seasons, or how the warmth of the light contrasts with the chilliness of the air. Whatever it is, I just love it
