Downsizing my images?!

Hi,I'm trying to downsize my images for putting on web sites and can not figure it out for the live of me!I'm using Lightroom 3,Photpshop Elements 9 (Trial) and Picasa. I do know you can get them smaller my cropping and I tried a few other things but nothing made them small enough,since I shoot Raw/Fine. Thank you so much for any advice you can give me

In Lightroom, when you export you can specify the size in pixels. Just make a preset that exports them 800 pixels on the long side, or whatever other size you want.
