Dreamy Sunset? Or has it fallen flat?

I went out shooting and didn't get any "good" shots, so I messed around with effects... does this work for the photo?

Just a note: it is SLIGHTLY less blurry/foggy before uploaded to photobucket.

My honest opinion would be that it looks like it was taken through a car window.

Maybe try some different effects.. I don't know.

Maybe a little too blurry for me, althought it's kind of neat effect. The sunset looks pretty nice though. I love the colours!

I traipsed through MUD to get that shot! Thanks for the input... photoshop is fun!

You're outright asking if the photo has "fallen flat"?
Well, now that I know that you traipsed through mud to get that photo, I hardly dare say that yes, it went all wrong, but that is what I feel about it. It makes me feel whether my glasses are where they belong, and this is my vision sometimes when a migraine is looming ... so yes, I think it hasn't worked out.
