Dried out Lake

I think this is a nice image. A few thoughts which would take it from nice to really nice: (1) Fill light is needed to bring out the detail in her face; (2) While the tangle of branches behind the subject is interesting, I feel they're competing for the viewer's attention. I would consider moving her away from that area; (3) She's rather too centered for my taste. A crop of some of the space on the left side of the image would improve things I think. You might also consider a vertical (Portrait) orientation; and (4) remember to level in post.

I have no experience in portraits or models w.s.e., but the model is kinda dark.
And how about setting her on the ground?

The location has created some striking textures. Maybe try having the model in clothing without patterns so to make her pop against the detailed background.

nice image, but I think the main focus should be well lit.
