Drought

These trees were once completely under water. With the extended drought we have had the lake is drying up exposing all the old trees.

I'd take more pictures there, look for a good sky day or just use less of the sky in the shot. Or add more bunnies lol

The bunny is nice pixmedic but I think it might have been missing this all along.

I think that the sky is congruent with the mood set by the dead trees in the foreground. I would also suggest cropping out the foreground rocks on the edge of the frame. They need to be fully in the frame or fully out of the frame. Otherwise, I find them distracting.

Not much to say critque wise. Odd they would flood a lake without cleaning the basin first.

They were in the process of cleaning out the area when the lake was built. During that period the area experienced terrential rains and filled the lake much quicker than anticipated. There is an area where a small town was flooded before they could clear out all the buildings. The drought has exposed some of the remnants of the old town and a road that used to run through there.

It would look pretty cool with some fog too. But again good shot.
