Dusk shots (Motocross) - CC

Due to the speed of the action I typically shoot in continuous mode, which means no flash on my D5100. However I did attempt a couple "dusk" shots the other night.

Thoughts, tips, suggestions?

No flash was used in the above images.

However the last two shots in this post were shot with a SB-700 mounted on the camera. After my new (to me) D7000 gets here I plan on trying some off camera flash shots with the built-in commander mode.
