Eagle Cam - One egg hatched, one still waiting to hatch

One egg has hatched. Both eagles were on the nest 10 minutes ago. Fascinating to watch!

There's a nest not far from me, saw people with cameras and tripods set up, you can see the nest from the road (but can't get any closer unless you've got a canoe!). There had been a nest in the area that got knocked down during a storm and I didn't realize they'd relocated - looks like they found a nice condo with a view overlooking the water! :biggrin-93:

I know there is one in my area, but I can't find it. I've been checking some local bird blogs hoping someone will post where it is.

A few years back in Clearwater, Fl, an eagle nest got toppled by some heavy winds with an eaglet in the nest. It was rescued and they did a 'name that chick' contest. They were going to band it and put it back in nest...
Winner was 'Egg flew young' ..
please, I am not disparaging anyone!!
I do love these webcams!
